open fields
A meeting place, a physical dialogue, and a sharing of creative processes between practitioners, Open Fields will allow participants from varying artforms to dig into what interests them and how to bring ideas to life.
Through creative techniques drawn from years of collaborative making in Australia and Europe, The Farm will curate a working space where messiness is welcome and deep conversation is expected.
“I was engulfed by new ideas that will continue to affect my own art making”

Open Fields is by invite, and is free for all participants
-
Open fields exists for independent artists to share their creative processes. Unlike Bare Bones, it is not a journey that is curated by The Farm, but rather a dedicated time and space in which we look to each other for inspiration.

“Open Fields provided an incredible opportunity to openly share arts practice and process. It is a rare conversation/ opportunity to have. The space created by THE FARM and all the artist present was safe. It was safe to be vulnerable, try new ideas out and MAKE MISTAKES (because there were none). It was a safe space not to know and be informed by everyone in the room. More of this please!”
“Beautiful sharing of like-minded but diverse artists. Connected most by an eagerness to share and feel part of a broader community"
"It was fantastic. Perfectly timed, great idea, and impeccably executed"
